What is a Connections Event? This is a gathering of folks interested in learning more about Life Groups at Calvary and how to
possibly join a group. We have leaders who are forming new groups, leaders of existing groups who are looking for new group members, or representatives for new groups and existing groups at
each Connections Event. After a few minutes talking about what Life
Groups are like at Calvary, we encourage participants to chat with one
or several of these leaders to make a connection to one of their groups.
How often do the Connections Events happen? We typically have four
Connections Events each year: two in the fall and two in the spring.
What do I do if I just missed the last Connections Event? Stay tuned
for the next one, as it’s never more than a few months until the next
Connections Event!
Does attending a Connections Event commit me to a particular group? No, attending a Connections Event can simply serve as an initial step
towards connecting to a group. However, we do encourage everyone who
attends to make every effort to find the best group connection, jump
in, and give it a try.
