In marriage, we tend to have serious fights about silly things. That happens because we’re really in conflict over something deeper. Our insecurities play off one another in explosive ways.
But there is hope! We can choose to handle these conflicts differently by remembering what’s true about us as children of God.
Join us for an evening of fun and learning as speakers Ted and Nancie Lowe, the directors of MarriedPeople, teach us how to recognize what is really happening in our hurtful conflicts over silly things. Silly fights cause serious damage because there’s something deeper going on...but they don't have to!
About our speakers: Ted & Nancie Lowe have been married since 1995. They have three busy kids who they serve as Uber drivers and sometimes parents. They are speakers, bloggers, and the directors of MarriedPeople, the marriage division at The reThink Group (also known as Orange), a non-profit organization devoted to influencing those who influence the next generation. Before working at Orange Ted worked as the Director of MarriedLife at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia and at Saddleback Community Church as a youth pastor. He is a graduate from Fuller Theological Seminary. More Info: http://tedlowe.com
Make plans to join us for a breather after all of the sugar-laden fun for a night just for the two of you!
