SERVE: Life Groups

There is nothing more fulfilling in the Christian life than truly knowing and growing in the Lord, being in Christ-centered community with other believers, and helping to meet the needs of others. Calvary’s Life Groups (our name for small groups) are committed to living out this mission by fostering significant Christ-centered relationships in order to grow the body of Christ. Life Groups meet almost every day of the week in neighborhoods throughout the region. Join us to experience the warmth of community right around the corner or just across town.

Connections Events
The primary avenue for folks to connect with a Life Group at Calvary. This is a gathering of folks interested in learning more about Life Groups at Calvary and how to possibly join a group. We have leaders who are forming new groups or leaders of existing groups who are looking for new group members at each Connections Event. After a few minutes talking about what Life Groups are like at Calvary, we encourage participants to chat with one or several of these leaders to make a connection to one of their groups. Life Groups Ministry Team
 		Is composed of staff and lay leaders who support Calvary’s Life Groups ministry (~50 groups with over 500 people!). The LGMT hosts Connections Events, offers training seminars for group leaders, provides assistance in selecting group curriculum, communicates regularly with group leaders, provides coaching and support to each group leader, and generally oversees all aspects of group life at Calvary.
LG Leaders
 		Life Groups don't just happen. They need someone willing to offer leadership and direction, encouragement and shepherding. If you are interested in leading a Life Group at Calvary, let us know!
