SERVE: Support & Administration

THREE KEY AREAS BELOW:
Buildings & Grounds
Communications
Administration

Buildings & Grounds: Calvary is blessed to have two wonderful facilities: 1250 University Drive and Harvest Fields (100+ acre office/barn facility just south of Boalsburg). Both facilities need upkeep if we are to be good stewards of God’s blessing. Most of these jobs can be done in a day or weekend. Others may need more ongoing attention during a specific season (i.e. mowing, flower beds, etc). Unless otherwise noted, contact: Kurt Powers (ext. 37)

Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Most often involves painting and periodic cleaning. People with any related experience are always needed. Specialized maintenance or repair of the building itself or the heating or cooling equipment are necessary on a periodic basis.
Kitchen Team Responsible for stocking and maintaining kitchen (and related) inventory.
Mowing & Landscaping Seasonal volunteers needed at each location:
  • General Yard Work: grass cutting and weed whacking on routine basis. Mowing larger grass areas at Harvest Fields can also be accomplished by volunteers with some familiarity with farm tractors and commercial grass cutting equipment.
  • Landscaping: flower bed planting, hedge/bush trimming, and leaf raking. Maintain what already exists and to upgrade as necessary.

Vehicle Maintenance Assist with keeping interior and exterior of the church van and the mini van clean and in good repair.

Communications aims to help people take their next step toward Christ through the local church by creating and maintaining effective easy-to-use communication tools; enabling them to easily track info when needed. Unless otherwise noted, contact: Ginger Larson (ext. 19)
